might give it a go when i have more time christmas break probably 110eps (shakes head in disbelief) how many eps do i have to watch before it starts getting good since ive heard its doesnt really start getting good until like 20eps in which puts me off oh and the 24gb file size...

^^ I'd actually agree somewhat with that. I watched Death Note when I was like, what? Maybe 13 years old. That was the only time I've seen it. I'm sure if I went back and rewatched it, I could pick out the flaws too. I'm sure I'd still find it entertaining nonetheless though.
^ I thought it was excellent right from the start. It gets better and better as it goes a long. But ehh... If I recall correctly around episode 20 is when something major happens, so what you heard might be somewhat relevant.
