Ill look into Full Metal Panic and see how it goes...
And its not that I only like action or anything like that. In fact, I would rather have less action if it meant the plot was thought out instead of episode after episode of the same theme of fighting off the bad guy.
And it doesnt have to be action based either lol. I remember a few years ago I watched Vampire Knight, and at the time I liked it. It was a while ago though as I can barely remember the whole story.

Anyways, for now, I'm going to just look for new anime to watch. What I've been doing is looking up the top most popular anime shows and going down the list, based on sheer number of people, but that hasn't worked out well lol.

^ Tell me any specific genres you want or anything you are looking for and I can recommend you something. I've seen 7,500+ episodes of anime so I'm sure I could help!
We seem to share some similar tastes too based on your last comment. You pretty much summed up why I despise Naruto and the lot.

wow 7500 o.O
Anyways, as mentioned I watched Death Note and Code Geass fully. I really like those because the main characters are geniuses and there is an underlying theme of using brains and strategy and suspense.
I dont like One Piece because the episodes seem repetitive, along with Inuyasha, which I tried watching, but I hated it and I even gave it a chance... every episode they fight some evil bad guy for the shard pieces and every episode they win and a new bad guy with some new stupid super power comes in.. ehhhhhhh
As for genres, I dont really have any specifics. It could be anything from action, romance, school, war, etc.
As long as it's well thought out, not childish, and isnt Inuyasha with the stupid routine episides.
I hope Im not being too picky lol

I understand, I don't like the repetitive "bad guy of the week" anime either. I like to watch intellectual pieces, myself, a lot. I don't know how many times I've recommended this and have yet to have somebody actually watch it.
I can't stress this enough... LEGEND OF THE GALACTIC HEROES. It's like Code Geass but 10 times better. Code Geass pretty much ripped off the entire show and filled it with superpowers and ass pulls.

God damn it, Revive, it's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long, and it's a fricken OVA (seriously, why not just make it a series). I'll watch it when I feel like watching something long again, alright? Will that make you happy, Revive?

BUT ITS LIKE A GREATEST SHOW EVER MAN LIKE YOU DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND.
I know the 110 episodes is intimidating... You should know that I'm not a fan of long shows either. Trust me, TRUST ME. You loved Code Geass so much so I'm POSITIVE, I GUARANTEE, I AM 100% CERTAIN you will claim LoGH is the greatest thing ever made.

I'm more of a casual fan. I've seen Death Note and thought it was full of psuedo-intellectual BS designed for morons to lap up. The premise itself is ridiculous, because there's no possible way to be caught except by giving yourself away. Not to mention the endless game theory/prisoner's dilemma (he knows that I know that he knows that I know...).
