Well, my copy of Steins;Gate Part 1 arrived yesterday, so I've been rewatching and reliving that. Right now, I'm watching it in it's dubbed form just to see if the VAs were any good. I was impressed, to say the least. As far as dubs go, Funimation did an excellent job choosing the VAs. While I still don't like the dubs as much as subs for Steins;Gate, this is the best dubbing I've heard in a while (though Rumiho's (a.k.a. Feris') VA still makes me cringe from time to time). As far as pronunciation goes, the only complaint I have is how they pronounce Kurisu's name, just too much emphasis on the 'u' which is either silent or said in such undertone that it seems silent.
Edit: Watched up to episode 12 in dubbed. Voices still did not disappoint much. In the end, there were a lot of Americanizations, but none of which stood out as awful, out of place, or unnecessary. The special features were interesting, to say the least, nothing that set it apart from other anime special features (except maybe the map of Akihabara showing places frequently used in Steins;Gate, which was pretty interesting). Now to watch in subs and truly relive all moments that made Steins;Gate Steins;Gate.
