About to finish Dai Shogun. I have 2 episodes left which I plan on watching right now and then I will begin watching another anime. Overall this show was pretty horrible with really no redeeming qualities, yet still not absolutely abhorrent. I'll probably rate it as a 3/10.
So I am now taking the next random series somebody has to offer. I will absolutely watch the the first series named. Alright guys shoot me. I hope to hear a response within the next hour.

You really want to make me suffer don't you? Unfortunately for you I've already seen it and dropped it after 5 episodes.
Earnshaw wins with Parasyte. I will be watching that next.
I hate that show just as much as you do, except I don't like to drop shows. The damn thing is basically Power Rangers + Highschool DxD + b00bs being put into a blender set on "puree" and something came out wrong...
Though to be fair it's something of a guilty pleasure...
There's always Kino's Journey if you don't want to suffer

It's pretty bad. Although I did like one character, which I forget her name. The fox/demon girl? I remember it beginning with Chi.
Has there been any recent Yuri anime?
I guess Kin-iro Mosaic is pretty soft Yuri. Anything else?
To my knowledge, the most recent Yuri anime was Sakura Trick, which is a "romantic comedy". I swear, all Yuri anime is comedic in some way, and never serious. I want a Clannad-tier serious Yuri anime.
Strawberry Panic is a somewhat dramatic Yuri anime (especially during the second half or so) but it's like nearly 10 years old now, so not recent lol

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo [The Pet Girl of Sakurasou]
Genres: Comedy, Drama, Romance, School
Brief summary of plot:
The school romantic comedy revolves around a second-year high school student named Sorata Kanda who lives in Sakurasou, the dormitory for problem children at Sorata's school. One day, Mashiro Shiina—a cute girl who happens to be also a cosmopolitan, brilliant artist—moves into Sakurasou.
Sorata thinks to himself that he should protect Mashiro from the weirdos at Sakurasou, but Mashiro has a surprising secret: she has no idea how to take care of herself. She gets lost if she goes out, and her room is a complete mess. Sorata's dorm mates designate him as the "master" of Mashiro, and thus, an ordinary boy and a brilliant girl must live like "a master and his pet."

Downloaded that like 3 years ago and still haven't watched it yet. Maybe sometime in the near future.
Up through episode 6 of Parasyte. This is really good so far.

Parasyte was great, definitely in the top 5 for the year 2014. 8.5/10, though I'll round that down to a 8/10 for MAL's sake. It wasn't quite on a 9/10 level, there were a few things that I would've changed about the series. Like...
Technological discrepancies between the manga written in 1989 to the adaption taking place presumably in present time. Where's the surveillance cameras? His father is still using a phone booth? Cellphones exist in the series yet are seldom seen... With modern day technology the parasites wouldn't be able to move around so freely.
The convenience that a parasite would be there to kill his mother and that specific one would need to take over her body on their trip.
The police force is suspicious of Shinichi for half the series, and try all these ways to determine whether or not he's actually a human. Why don't they just take a blood sample and be done with it?
I felt the second half of the last episode was pretty much entirely unnecessary and forced.
There's probably a few other things I could nitpick, but hey whatever.
Alright guys you know the deal. Somebody give me another random series to watch.
Anything
under 26 episodes!
Having a really hard time picking something I think you would, possibly, like. All the stuff I think it good you've either already seen, have something else on your list which is sorta similar that scored rather low, or I'm second guessing because i've read the manga as well...
