Revive, how can you base an opinion on something you haven´t even seen? Because everything you said is basically not true or way exeggerated and a summarized opinion of the average hater.
Out of that list I wouldn´t call CG R1, Angel Beats! and TTGL perfect myself.
Why don´t you accept everyone has different opinion?

I would agree if it were any other anime, but seeing as its Naruto I dunno lol.
My own impression is that a lot of the people who take issues with Naruto and other such Shonen Jump often do not vehemently hate the franchise as much as they claim to. What they are actually frustrated with are the amount of people who claim to be 'anime fans', but who typically remain ignorant of anime as a whole and often hold these particular titles up as a shining, godlike example of all that anime should be, when in actually they are the very image of mediocrity at best (and utterly horrendous at worst).
Factor in on top of that that these particular anime are rarely made popular by actually having well written stories or well composed plots (existing manga fanbase excepted). No, the secret to their success is typically the timeslot in which they are aired. In Japan these titles tend to air at about 6PM, and likewise in the west they are aired in a timeslot that will offer them maximum exposure to the largest possible base of its receptive audience. Any anime could succeed given enough time existing in this prime timeslot, as it attracts a growing returning viewer base.

Naruto is a gateway anime of the worst kind. It's a bad series, a cluster**** of story and characterization that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive shipping ****otry and DARKNESS. The normal person can see this as the trash it is, and may enjoy it, hate it or be indifferent to it, but all the while recognizing that the series itself, regardless of their opinion, is plain bad.
However, these very aspects that try to smear over the trash of its core make it a breeding ground for aspie, unsociable ******* who engage in every kind of ****otry both online and in the real world. The superpowered characters all trying their hardest to look cool, the jutsus, peculiar, colorful clothes, the whole ninja ****otry and everything about the Naruto world fuels their escapist fantasies, while the pity-party character backgrounds, emphasis on revenge, and overall preachiness of the series make it fit just right with the mary-sueish drives of your average preteen and his sense of unwarranted self-importance towards the world. Exactly the kind of stuff that makes little kiddies eat this **** right up.
Naruto is basically THE series to attract the most hated anime fanbase known to man, which is why, regardless of individual opinions, it is the responsibility of every person to troll the hell out of this show and everyone who likes it, and ensure that no Naruto threads ever encourage the newfriends to show their faces here.

Copypasta that I edited a bit. That's it I'm done with the Naruto discussion.

C´mon dude, even a monkey would see that is just trolling and trashtalk without making sense.
@ Jesse,
You´re forgetting that manga´s more popular in Anime than Japan.[edit: haha genius typo ^^] So it isn´t really the timeslot that makes it popular. And there are a lot of other popular series that don´t air that time. Not to forget one of the most famous/well received slots is the NotaiminA block, however its full with unknown series.

..Yeah anyway, I was just thinking there have been a lot of manga writers who've never expected that their creation would become so big.
That would be pretty awesome wake up the next day and all of a sudden people are rushing in to buy your product ...
I just forgot, ^ I used to watch Death Note.. :P .

Just wondering, but, what is everyone's view on these two songs, note these are fandubbed, but, I think are really good.
YouTube:
ENGLISH 'In My World' Ao No Exorcist / The Blue Exorcist (Full)
ENGLISH 'Rain' Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (Full)
Also, don't want the usual dub bashing BEFORE you hear it.

True, but that being said the majority of anime produced are manga-based, and yet they still very rarely even approach the overall popularity of your long running Jump stuff, so its not reasonable to say that the anime is popular solely because of the manga any more so than any other anime.
It's the timeslot coupled with the episode count. You air a show in a prime time slot for 7 years and eventually people are going to see it one way or the other (and some of those will keep coming back), as opposed to the mainstay of anime which air for 6 months at most, at 12am - 3am. Same goes for NotaiminA, the anime in that block are 2 cour at most, so they dont have time for that viewerbase to build up around them, nor do they have anywhere near the amount of people still awake to watch them.
Time + Viewer availability = popularity
But i was more talking about how popular they are in the west as among English speaking anime fandom. You ask and you'll find that the most popular anime are the ones that have aired on TV. This is purely becasue of that maximum level of exposure that these shows get, not because they are the most high quality examples of anime that Japan has to offer.
And of course, its the western element that I was talking about. People getting frustrated at those who only get their anime exposure from TV and then reject (often to the point of trash talking or looking down upon) other anime. They then proceed to come to the internet and treat Naruto as though its some god-tier awesomeness that nothing could ever compete with, hence the certain amount of ire that it attracts from other elements of the anime community.
(that, and the bloody Naruto cosplayers. Went to a convention a few years ago and EVERY SECOND PERSON was a Naruto character. Been glad to see that's tailing off in the last couple of years but seriously people....)
