I am up to episode 13 on When They Cry season 2.
SPOILERS AHEAD FOR WHEN THEY CRY.
Also, how did they give so much away? Rika says she is going to die and there is nothing she can do to stop it for about 4 episodes and so starts to feel self pitty until Hanyu and herself move to another world after she dies and something ever so slightly changes.(By cutting a hanging string off her tassel)
After this, she tells keichii everything.
It states someone wants her dead but you don't have an inkling as to why until she says so because,
1. You know there is something in a syringe (could be a virus, drug or simply something which is a hallucinogen causing severe distress)
2. You know they want Rika dead.
3. You know the nurse (the blond) is the bad guy a few episodes prior to episode 13.
How exactly could you have found out it?
Unless you mean in one of the last seasons of Higurashi when Rena went crazy and started saying aliens started this, but, whilst there was some truth to it, I didn't pick up on it because of the psychological reasons behind it because;
A. She wanted to remove the "filthy" blood her mother left her and thus started cutting herself around the neck.
B. The maggots represent the blood and hence the cutting, so, she kept scratching her neck and seeing maggots crawl across the floor.
So, I genuinely assumed she was just plain crazy. ^_^

Finished ToraDora! last night, and as always I wish there was another season for it, but alas it looks slim for ToraDora. Too bad tbh, it was another series i highly enjoyed.
Now I think I may rewatch a series i've seen before. Perhaps SnS, Clannad or Angel Beats. Or if anyone has any suggestions I may try those. Nothing mainstreamy and over-rated like Naruto please. :P

I think the first post was pretty clear on that, please don't post here if you don't like anime.
@Zuriel: About rewatching shows, I just ordered the Durarara DVDs to rewatch it. It's such a great show. ^_^ If you haven't seen it yet you might want to try this one.

Oooo, Higurashi was pretty good. Part of the fun was trying to justify which 'Chapter' was the actual events that happened, more than over the other Chapters xD
Btw, there's a new 4 episode OVA series called 'Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kira' which begins on July 21 :D
Clue Drops -> 3a Range Top (h357), 3a Full Helm (h439), 3a Druidic Staff (e969), Barrows Dye (h1755, h2546, e680, e1567, e2038, e2160, m480, m783, m862), Shadow Dye (e510, e1970, e1985, h2948), Ice Dye (e1539, e2804), 3a Dye (e3129)

Hawk, I will focus on one major point with you. SPOILERS of course and another SPOILER warning just in-case. The reason they saw those maggots forming from their neck was because the syringe was a hallucinogenic. Aka; a drug. That was a hint for those who really believed it wasn't really maggots. In a mystery standpoint, you would never be able to tell Takano- the nurse I believe- was dead because they always said her body burned, right?
Why did I put the spoilers in the same paragraph as the warnings? Cause people end up reading the end of the last posts of course. All in all, the realization at the end of these series is the best as it makes you feel stupid for not realizing it sooner.
Episode 13 and the last episodes were the best! "Power of friendship! *BAM* Muted words for no reason"
Good to hear a new Higurashi OVA is coming, though, I don't know where they could go with it. All it leads to is more comical arcs rather than real 'juicy' ones.

I just wanna put in, on the subject of syringes, that there are actually 3 different syringes in play, so make sure you dont mistake one for the other.
As for what the OVA's are going to cover, i dont see why they have to stick to strictly comedy, since there is a lot of background area to explore still.
The names and release dates if your interested.
Batsukoishi-hen -Ki-, July 21, 2011
Ayakashisenshi-hen -Do-, September 22, 2011
Musubienishi-hen -Ai- (tentative), November 23, 2011
Yumeutsushi-hen -Raku- (tentative), January 25, 2012
You can defiantly expect the first one to be a random comedy since it has the same name as the first arc from Rei.
According to wiki, the one in Rei was originally designed as an epilogue to the game of Meakashi/eye opening/ Shion is a nutjob chapter, but it was ditched before production due to it being silly and irrelevant.
Now, when we look at ANN'* post on the subject, we get:
'The first volume will adapt the original software's Batsukoishi-hen storyline, while the remaining volumes will have all-new original stories. '
So i dunno whats going on there....
As for the other three, i could think of plenty of things that are left to be explored which, as far as i know, haven't yet been touched. Things like the dam war, the inner workings of Tokyo, the Higurashi - Umineko interplay, plenty of stuff.
