^You cant be looking very hard then. It only took me 20 seconds to find 5 different versions of the first episode.....
Anyways, anybody have any opinions on Bakemonogatari? I saw the first episode back when it was being released but since it was about 99% talking and not much of anything else I didn't watch it any further. Since theres a second season airing now and a prequel on the way, and since it as directed by the same guy as Madoka, I figured its about time I gave it a second chance.
Its always worth doing that, going back to anime's that you initially didn't like after a few years. Sometimes you find that your opinion or standards of it have changed dramatically.

Okay so for the people who don't know where to download things from, if it's a show that is completed and not licensed by Funimation you can find it on BakaBT with a lot of seeders.
If it's a currently airing show you can find it on Tokyo Toshokan. You can also find completed old shows on here but don't count on there being any seeders.

That first one is great if your looking for anime soundtracks or obscure older shows. The only problem with itis the fact that if you want to search you have to sign up, and if you sign up they enforce a seeding:leeching ratio of 15GB ( It think). Basically, that means that you can only download 15GB more than you upload, or something bad happens (I forget what).
Theres an easy way to cheat that though, go to a seach engine, type in what your looking for and add the name of the website, search and there you go.

^ Doesn't have to be obscure, they really do have everything if it isn't by Funimation.
About the 15GB thing, that isn't true. You just have to try and seed as much as possible. If your ratio of upload/download goes too low, and I mean REALLY REALLY low, then you can't download until you've brought it up. It isn't even a problem :P

I know it dosent have to be, but what I mean is that its a good place for finding show's that are older and more or less impossible to find a seeded torrent that wont take a month to complete. Normally at that point you resort to DDL, but we all know the situation with that at the moment, and thats assuming you can find a decent file and not one of those horrible rmvb 60mb that DDL sites were always so fond of.
And the seeding ratio thing IS a problem, for me at least. My upload speed is extremely slow compared to my download speed, it would take me several weeks to seed even the smallest torrent. Even still though, my biggest issue with it is that they try to force you to do it. Seeding the file should be something done of your own free will, not because you have the threat of 'NO DOWNLOAD FOR YOU!' hanging over your head.
And honestly, i don't really like their ethics policy in terms of upload acceptance/ rejection. If your going to reject Funimation titles under some mock legitimacy (more like to protect their own asses), reject Sentai Filmworks and Media Blasters titles was well.
