...and 101 episodes (I think) as Nagi. Frankly, I wouldn't say that Aria was any worse than the others based purely on entertainment value, least it kept up the pace. I cant even remember what happened in the second season of Shana.
SnS and ZnT were definitely a good bit better than Aria and they actually had endings. To be honest, I probably couldn't tell you much that happened in the first three seasons of ZnT. I'm in the same boat with Shana, I remember a little bit from the first and third season yet nothing of the second is popping up in my head.
Aria was only 12 episodes yet I can barely remember a single detail. I remember the beginning when the guy is riding his bike and he's attacked... something about him hiding in a locker in the girls changing room... then there's a scene on an airplane or something. Oh and there's a girl that's good with a sniper, how she's relevant to the story I haven't any clue.

i Revive
I have a friend who loves anime, sad she doesn't play Runescape or I could get her to share here. I remember as a kid I watched Gundam and Dragon Ballz on TV. I thought the Gundam robots were pretty cool.
And I've got you covered on what happens in HnA both anime and half of the LN series. Also Revive, the sniper you're thinking of is Reki (arguably my favorite character from that show) and she becomes relevant later in the LN series.
There's a reason I stressed 'based purely on entertainment value', as in 'I didn't find that my personal experience in terms of enjoyment varied significantly between any of the three'. Aria is no doubt the weakest of the three in terms of actual quality, but in terms of how much I enjoyed watching them there's not a huge difference between Aria and the others (if anything it's slightly higher, becasue I like guns...).
I haven't watched Znt yet, but enjoyment-wise, I found HnA more enjoyable than SnS. It may be because I've read the LNs, but I find HnA's story to be more interesting, whereas SnS's was generally dull.
