Madoka is certainly one of my favorites. Watched it in three days, then watched it again.
Kyubey is my favorite character by the way. I don't understand what all the hate is about, he's actually offering a pretty good deal.
If you are willing to call an inevitable downward spiral into despair and madness that will turn you into an evil creature bent on killing (or a horrible, horrible death) a 'good deal'. The hate stems from the fact that he never revealed that little detail, if he was peddling wishes with that in the contract then it wouldn't be such a big deal. Personally, im more confused as to why they flip out so much over the gemification of their souls, seems rather convenient to me (though it didn't help Mami much
).

Just wondering, but, if I was to download an anime, let's say from Itunes and it came from an American store considering I am in Region B, would it play if I were to put it on a Portable Hardrive/USB and put that in a Blu Ray player?
EDIT:
Short version;
Are downloaded TV show programmes region locked like Blu Rays/DVDs?

Maybe for disk image files like ISO's, but I don't think so for anything else. My understanding of it is that the data which determines region blocking is stored in the TS_Video file of a movie DVD (if you've ever opened the files stored on a DVD on your PC you'll know what im talking about). Regular video file formats meant for PC (but that still run on players) like .Avi, .mkv and .mp4 don't work like that.
Subject of BD players though, wish I could get one that's region free for BD disks. Ive ended up with alot of region A BD's that I cant use at the moment because of the way some of the US anime distributors have been selling recently, packaging BD and DVD versions of the anime together (Funi and NIS have been doing it). Not sure what the point of this is but its working well for me so im not to worried

Two weeks tomorrow and then Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos will be released outside of Japan.
EDIT:
Anyone know the release date for the UK?
I know Manga Entertainment will release in the UK but I must know when!

Two things, well, 1 question, 1 request.
1. Need to know something.
When does the FMAB movie get released in the UK?
2.
Need new anime, do not suggest any of the below;
Naruto
Bleach
One Piece
Death Note
FMA or FMAB
Big Windup!
Eyeshield 21
Higurashi series
When Seagulls Cry
Demon King Daimao
Angel Beats
DN Angel
Highschool of the Dead
Gravitation
The top 3 I haven't watched and don't intend to.
The rest I have watched but are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.
EDIT:
Bad spelling is bad.

Go watch Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Best anime ever made in my opinion. It's 110 episodes, so that should keep you busy for a while. But if you want something really good that's shorter watch Gurren Lagann, Macross Frontier, Eureka Seven, Anything in the Gundam series. (Mecha and/or space shows are my favorite as you can see)
