Really hard to say. So many good ones out there.
Although it's not an opening song, I really like the song being played at the end of the last episode of Code Geass.

Best anime song in my opinion has to be the "Dear You" songs of higurashi no naku koro ni, sadly it not a opening song :| . A actual opening song would be "Red fraction" from black lagoon.

You should see black lagoon if you don't have anything to watch. In my opinion it is a really good anime, but watch it in English its 10x better than in Japanese.
