Uuugh, so tired....
2 days of anime convention, a wedding, and a film festival within the last 48 hours, all under the blazing heat of the Australian sun. And all this on three hours of sleep and many liters of iced coffee. One more day to go.
But now for a funny story.
So its about 2am and im in the Brisbane CBD to attend the Australian premiere of Yoshihiro Nishimura's new movie Helldriver (which is a very weird and nonsensical zombie film with lots of gore), having beat an auditoriums worth of people at jan-ken-pon to win the tickets, and the end credits are rolling. Suddenly the director of the movie bursts into the cinema wearing nothing but a mawashi (the things sumo's wear), screaming at the top of his lungs and swinging around a prop fetus attached to a rope that was in the movie (a zombie uses it as a flail, told you it was a weird film).
He then proceeded to deliver a Q&A session about the movie dressed in this manner, with the prop fetus perched atop his head. Ah Japan, never stop being crazy.
