And now for something completly different (not bleach related)...

Has anyone ever picked up an anime and/or manga and expected it to be something, but when they open it up it turns out to be very much the opposite?
I went into the city today just for the hell of it, shop around in the couple of manga/comic stores they have in there.
I was looking in one shop and in the new releases, and a cover caught my eye. If i had to make a bet on what it was it would be a cute, semi fantasy semi slice of life story about a young girl and her friends,it looked like something nice to read so i picked it up and flipped it open, and the first thing i saw was two small children being sliced up by a possessed ferret with blades for front paws....

animie is a style of japanese animated show (correct me if im wrong)
would shows like pokemon fit into that?
because they are obviously different than the american cartoons i remember where popeye would eat his spinach and beat the snots out of the strong guy, that and

i do point out they make people especialy the girls have such skinny bodys that if they wearent wearing the good cloathing styles they would be skin and bones... probably less.
doesnt bother me tho ;)

lol, anime can be like that, strange character designed and whatnot. Try some of the character designs from XXXholic, their legs make up about 90% (slightly exagerated) of their body hieght.
But its CLAMP, so they can get away with it :P
Then theres hanamaru's potato's with legs****/chibi's , ect ect

goto admit though the cloathing styles do usualy look kool =*
wish i could get cloaths like some of them and look like them it without looking like a tornado went through a major city...
one im lookin at now has nice choice of pants but his strange hat throws me off i guess...

Its actually not all that difficult to get them, there are usually places which either sell or can make you that sort of thing.
You can also make them yourself with a little cash and knowledge of a sewing machine (lots of people do). Ive personally been wanting a cape myself, Dunno why but i like having the weight of a cape on my back.

ah yes i have takin basic sewing classes... i just dont like doing it... afraid il get my hand turned into sloppy joes with the sewing machine =o

i see peopel on google images dressed up like them too. aparently not as hard to make as a stormtrooper outfit...
then again... meh nevrmind.

Or you could do what i do and use a chainmail glove, not sure where you could actually go and buy one of them though, i got mine from work.
