Speaking of 'Durarara!!', I have been meaning to watch that and the recent airing of the two episodes and English are keeping me interested so far. I already like some of the characters with my top three being; Izaya, Masaomi, and despite the lack of screen time in the first to episodes- Shiz*o.
Found this about Higurashi: "in Japan involving the murder of a police chief by his sixteen-year-old daughter with a hatchet, as well as the Japanese media relating the case to anime such as Higurashi, the latest episode screenings of both Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai and another anime, School Days, were canceled by a number of Japanese TV stations"
I had no idea that the story involving this girl had any relation to Higurashi influence when I first read it
that stuff if plain odd.
I'm reading the new horror manga Ryukshi made too. Or rather, the idea. Anyways...very...odd.
