So, who's the crazy one in the anime "Umineko no Naku Koro ni"?
I predict either the daughter for being so into witchcraft by the look of it or the mother, only seen the first episode and apparently "Child abuse runs in the family"... O_o

Lol, just watching episode 3 of Umineko no Naku Koro ni and noticed Maria is watching "When they cry" on TV. ^_^
Also, what significance do the golden butterflies play if any?
EDIT:
Hinimizawa syndrome is a dangerous bug to be sure if it can hop worlds...

What you see in the latter half of episode 5 occurs on a 'higher plain' to the world in which Shannon was killed. Best get used to the idea, since there can be several differing plains of existence in effect at any one time. You'll understand what i mean relatively soon.
And, as you would of course have learned from Higurashi, people in ryukishi07's stories generally dont stay dead for very long. The big difference between how it was in Higurashi and how it is in Umineko is that your given the reasoning behind it pretty much straight away.
The other big difference, which ill let you know so you can think accordingly, is which aspects of a mystery that Umineko focuses on. There are 3 aspects to any mystery;
-Whodunit (Culprit)
-Howdunit (Method)
-Whydunit (Motive)
Higurashi focused more on the who and why, while the how generally took a back seat (they were bashed in the face with a baseball bat, whats so hard to understand). In Umineko, How and Why are the major aspects, with who being less important.
PS- Have you spotted any characters from Higurashi yet? Not counting on the TV's. On the subject of the TV's, if your wondering why you never saw those parts in Higurashi, its becasue those bits are from the little 2 minute mini-video's that were extra's for the Japanese Higurashi Kai DVD's.

Just like the arcs in Higurashi, there are those in umineko. Simple answer for you, Hawk.
Half-way through Ano Hana episode 6 and I always cringe at when people embarass themselves or someone else on purpose, even if it isn't real or an act. "I can give her a booty call anytime, anywhere!" was both that embarrassment feeling I was talking about and slightly hilarious XD
Oh, and if you don't like the language, I will edit the word for something more appropriate. But that is a direct quote.
