That note about the accents reminded me of someone once complaining that they didn't use ethnic voice actors (other than for Graham Aker) for the Gundam 00 dub.
Needless to say, if you know of the backgrounds for each of the characters, you may find it hard to take any of the fights seriously ever again once imagining them with the most stereotypical accents known to man.

@DarkScion: Thanks for the explanation, I did not know that. ^_^
@Lou: Really? Have you seen up to episode 3? It might be a bit childish at times (especially the first few episodes), but I wouldn't say it's boring. I'm looking forward to see how this story will end, to me it's the most interesting story of this season next to Madoka Magica.

Quick few questions about the Higurashi series.
1. A new arc is every 4 episodes right?
2. Koro ni Kai is the 'answers' series to each original arc?
3. Rei is just an extra ova series?
Cheers :3

A'right, I have now said to myself I will not watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood until the entire series has been dubbed.
I know a lot of people prefer subs, but, I prefer dubs because the longer I have to wait for it, the greater the feeling of satisfaction when it finishes.
Currently watched up to episode 30 in English dub. :|

@Dynamic Hawk that's because your probably not used to hearing japanese but the dub is not the same as the sub. there's always some changes (i.e.names, opening themes etc.) ·

they do a good job with dubbing some things though. Hearing English voices is always going to be more natural for English people though. Unless your so used to someone's Japanese voice. If the sub and dub for FMAB were out at the same time I'd watch the dub. :P Or just get something with dual audio and watch both.
