Because generally speaking, the original audio track does outperform the dub. Or at least, it seems to.
Ive always said that when we watch a fansub we connect a voice to a character, then when that anime becomes available dubbed the English voices sound intrusive, due to the fact that they dont conform to the image of the character that the person already holds.
But the are a few places where dubs do fall down over the subs that aren't due to this. Things like when the dub company cant get the original SFX/Music licensed for their track. Theres also that issue that american voice actors often do sound very, very flat and deadpan.

Apparently a lot of Japanese voice actors overact to incredible extents, we just don't notice because we're reading it and the sound is in a language we can't understand. Japan also has it's share of just plain terrible voice actors, but of course, only those who understand Japanese know how bad they are.

Still, its anime. Theres plenty of room to accept over-reactions as comedic element or traits of the character. There isn't really the same sort of room for underacting.
And i dunno. Fair enough a person who listens to japanese people every now and then, but im not sure the same could be said for a person who watches anime alot. Ive listened to enough japanese people talk to get used to how the language functions to a reasonable extent.

Itachi claimed that he did it as part of a plot to obtain the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan by killing the Clan (gaining his MS) and forcing Sasuke to grow strong and gain his own MS, so Itachi could kill Sasuke and take Sasuke's MS, thus obtaining the EMS.
Sasuke realised that Itachi wasn't powerful enough do kill the entire Clan without help, and figured out that Madara helped Itachi. Itachi admitted this.
Madara told Sasuke that Itachi was ordered to kill the Uchiha, but couldn't bring himself to kill Sasuke, and so contrived a plot in which Sasuke would grow strong, then Itachi would die at Sasuke's hands, making him a hero to Konoha, so the Elders couldn't kill him even after Itachi died.

@summant else omg that was so sad :( i hope the konoha elders die 4 making itachi-san suffer!!! (that wans't a spoiler 4 me cuz i already knew all that ^_^ )
@dynamic hawk still that dub is not the same as the sub :( no matter how good funimation is i still like the japanese version of one piece better ·
