The second season dodged the delays due to Covid, as the producers completed the entire season before the first episode aired.

I hope that will be the case for the 3rd season, I am willing to wait till 2021 hopefully the rest of the season gets produced as a whole.

Many anime series were delayed this season, as production of later episodes are being produced while the early episodes are airing (like millionaire detective). Any form of disasters do cause scheduling delays, similar to what happened in 2011 Japan earthquake disaster.

Yea im still upset over the Quintuplets as it was supposed to air in Jan but then got moved to October and now back to Jan 2021.

So im more than certain Bookworm will air sometime next yr as season 2, or as i like to say s1.5 as it seems s1 was just 2 cours, will more than likely be summer if not fall next yr.
