So ive been watching Ascendance of a Bookworm and have to say it sure does live up to all the praise it gets, except for one somewhat small detail ive seem to have found.

Once you get to ep13 the plot seems to shift from Main wanting to make books to her wanting to join the cathedral to read the books there.


Thus i was wondering why this happens completely out of left field like that?

If its explained after said episode, plz mark the answer with a spoiler.

Yes only 3 are being made for ppl in the US and one could be yours for only $40k...

Also when it means life sized, it means the staue will be over 6 ft. tall and weigh over 120 lbs.

This can only be answered with a spoiler, which I prefer not to discuss.

All I can say is the plot with joining the cathedral is "vital" to reach the original goal of Main.

You need to watch the two OVA + the second season to understand where I'm coming from.

Also im glad the story doesnt forget about its original goal and just start a new one mid series.

So i just got done watching Somali and the Forest Spirit and have to say im really disappointed i didnt watch it when it first aired as it blew my expectations away.

It did remind me though of If its for my daughter, id even defeat a demon lord but the roles were reversed as the dughter was human but the father was demi-human.

Was wondering though, whats everyones opinion on if there should be a S2 or not?

Did you think ep12 ended it on a good note or do you still want to see if they ever reach their goal?
