To be honest, I haven't actually watched Bleach for a while, so I didn't see any new or recent fights. But when I used watch it, I didn't even like the fights. They were nothing compared to Naruto fights. (Not saying Naruto is all that great either, but still) Perhaps part of the reason why I thought the fights in Bleach were boring is the fact that I didn't care who won or lost because I didn't care about the characters.
For the record, my favorite anime of all time is Cowboy Bebop. Nothing will ever come close to it. If you haven't already, GO WATCH IT NOW.

I personally have too many favorite Anime shows to list. Baha, but I'll list my top 5 favorites ^_^
1) Spice and Wolf
2) AIR Tv
3) Kanon 2006
4) Clannad
5) Saikano

^ NONE of those are aired on public TV. You gotta watch them online.

Well, if you find unclothed women and arterial bloodspray depressing mabye. Elfen lied didnt crack any sort of emotion from me really, Air on the other hand is the anime with the highest level of treachery to my manly integrity.
Followed by Kanon ep 10 and Angel Beats ep 13. Key really know how to make a good tearjerker.

^ I personally didn't find it too depressing, but compaired with AIR, i've been told Elfen Lied is sadder; programs don't really depress me much, so i can't really tell.

Nah, dunno who youve been talking to but i can say 100% that any KEY production produces is many times more depressing than elfen lied.
I had pretty much no emotional investment in any of the characters in elfen lied, the most emotion i felt for anyone was when the guy was told he had to have his nuts removed :P
Air on the other hand had me legitimatly caring about the characters. I get sucked in by cute stuff and melodrama very easilly, so its not hard to see wher the difference lies.
