@Kitrina I'm of the belief Malva did something. That whole battle just felt off to be honest. Insane, unearthly power creep.

I'm going to watch it in dub once the second episode of it comes out. It'll be either this week or next.

edit: dub not bub.

Malva seems pretty innocent right now though. I think Lysandre rigged his keystone so he'd drain energy from his opponents or something. It actually makes a lot of sense seeing as when he fought Malva, he'd already fought 9 opponents in a row and he was getting stronger not weaker. Oh and Lysandre was over seeing that 'experiment' as well.

That's what sets it apart from other rom coms, and puts it in a league of it's own. It doesn't rely on blatant humour to tell the story. The humours there, but it has a in depth story driven entirely by real characters, characters you could truly see yourself being in day to day life.

As for the romance, the characters are essentially strugling to learn what exactly the term romance and friendship entails. They are real people, ones you can truly relate to.

Yahari S2 isn't funny at all and is chock full of melodramatic high school bullshit. I had the same issue as Nosword, which is that the two seasons are so tonally clashing they're practically two different shows.

If you want good comedy then I second Nozaki-kun. Seitokai Yakuindomo and KonoSuba are good too.

watching that today, and i am enjoying it

Re:zero
Im glad subaru was able to apologize to julius and work on moving past that whole fight. makes him slightly more likable, but i still hate him. So far the witchs cult seemed too easy. the ending with ram appearing and subaru being on his own made no sense. but i guess its good for making me look forward to next week

The bracelet itself was collecting Mega Energy. Alan was told he needed to collect it to save Marran's Chespin after it got hit by the energy Team Flare was using to try and stimulate Zygard into pulling together it's cells in Lysander labs. This took place during Alans 10 mega battle streak.

So that energy could have definitely influenced the battle.

For me that's what keeps me watching. It's a realistic progression, not a exaggerated comedic one. The characters are living real lives as real people, and for me it's a nice change of pace from everything out there. It's very rare you find characters as real as they are.

grrr why :(

Okay, where are all my Dragon Ball Super fans? I know there must be more of us out there. This isn't the time for us to hide, we need to discuss/speculate what is going to happen next. ;)

I'm honestly rooting for Black Goku at this point. Dragon Ball Super has been lacking a threatening villain for the longest. I want to see Black Goku overpower Beerus/Whis, and become a true universal threat. I'm kind of tired of Goku/Vegeta getting a power up and simply beating the villain. I wouldn't mind seeing a Super Saiyan Blue version between Goku and Vegeta to form an ascended form of Gogeta, but even then I still feel that would be a cliche way to end things.

The tournament arc with Hit was way too ephemeral; so much opportunity for character was missed out on. I was disappointed to see fights lasting less than a single episode. I would love to see Hit return, and have him be a part of stopping Goku Black. Hit is a character that had so much potential, I know he's going to return soon (hopefully within this arc).

My prediction is that Goku, and Trunks are going to get beaten up hard by Black/Zamasu. Goku is likely going to have to resort to pressing Zeno's button in a last effort for helping (despite knowing how angered Zeno will be to see them disobeying time laws), and I think Zeno is going to demand that they settle things in a tournament.
