well, doesnt have to be mindless. i do prefer dark or inappropriate humor. i have seen monster monsume, i did enjoy watching it, but i wouldnt call it a great show. i would prefer something more based around adults over school girl stuff Old School

Well, if you want a more lighthearted romance, but not one that is a rom com, Karin Chibi Vampire all the way. Karin has to be one of the best romance I've come across.

For dark, but not depressing, Veneus vs. Virus, though I will say the manga is much better.

Darker than Black and the Grisaila trilogy are excellent for the more adult side.

very few anime that actually make me laugh out loud plenty that can make me smile not a big fan of Japanese humour though I thought Monthly girls nozaki kun and the devil is a part timer were pretty amusing in recent years

@Kitrina I'm of the belief Malva did something. That whole battle just felt off to be honest. Insane, unearthly power creep.

I'm going to watch it in dub once the second episode of it comes out. It'll be either this week or next.
