Anyways, looking to confirm a rumor if any of you guys have a source. As you guys may or may not be aware, the Spice and Wolf light novel series is getting a continuation. I've started reading them recently, normally buy them from a bookshop, but since they where missing volume 5 I went to a manga shop I go to occasionally that's abit far away to get it. The guy at the counter likes to talk about whatever series your buying a bit, and he mentioned the continuation. The part that's interesting is that he mentioned that apparently the author hadn't wanted to continue the series, and that he was basically bribed into it with the promise of more anime.

So, spice and wolf season 3, confirm or deny?

Well I've tried searching around and there's nothing to confirm this. I don't know what that guy was talking about. People have long speculated about a 3rd season, but who knows. With new additions being written to the story now it's more plausible we could get it someday.

plausible, but they would probably need to tie up the loose ends season 2 left behind and the first batch of the novels in order to greenlight the sequel's anime adaptation, now the most annoying and saddest question of all, will they make their money back/profit from this? I doubt the new anime would be the content of the new novels, that's a good few seasons worth of content alone. I'm not sure how long into it the business with Eve runs, but #6 pretty much introduced a whole nother side tangent so I doubt that woud be a quick business to wrap up.

Anywho, April 1st. Key is up to their usual shenanigans posting 'fake' trailers. Planetarian movie, bout time :)
