err id just come in from a night out when I made that post...hence why it kinda just ends...
Im not understanding how sao is the most original one dont think either of them are original but....Hack//sign did mmorpgs ages ago and once the stories get going there both basically fantasy shows. (side note I dont dislike sao as alot of people on the thread do)

psh get out log horizon is far superior to sao..there not even that similar once you get into the
NO YOU! You totaly missed the point. Initial plot is the same - gamers trapped in the virtual world. Both reveal relations between gamers in different situations(from basic rules of mmos to local jokes). But imho SAO is more original and dynamical, not to mention it was the first one of that genre. As i said earlier - rest are clones, and thats not only opinion of mine.
But SAO itself is a ripoff. You've apparently never heard of the .hack series.

Good morning, i guess.
I know about .Hack// series. They are 2k2 for the earliest. Not watched them all though. Guilty, i know.
Should of said that it was one of the first bright ones in revived genre in previous post to eliminate all confusion, my bad really. Ofcourse SAO was far from first, i believe there were few other animations on same year line with .Hack// ones.
Why i'm for later one, 2k12+, like SAO is because it is more up to the date in terms of current games and relations. But that totally doesn't mean i don't like older animation. Still fresh in the memory is "Tales of Phantasia", which i've watched under impression of said game. Too bad the creativity of the owners was not enough for more than 4 episodes. And this saddens (

Looks very promissing from start. But then the more i've watched this, the more i asked myself a question - what are they smoking there?
I don't know, but I know I want some of it. KLK's got the most original plot to an anime since TTGL (and no, I don't count Inferno Cop).
My all time favorite anime. Forever. It's absolutely amazing. Anyone who hasn't seen it, I highly recommend it.
Edit: If anyone knows any anime that is similar to Code Geass, or on the same levels of amazing storyline and plot, I'd love to know them! I've watched all the stuff like Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, etc.
