I suggested Log Horizon and Hamatora in the post after yours. Might have been a bit indirect but I was suggesting them as since their finales are next week it's a good time to watch them.
I have also previously suggested Pilot's Love Song if you haven't started that.

Some of these are favs of mine too.
I think it's
"Dark Butler"
not black one. It would make more sense
As for
"Death Note"
I'd recommend to watch both film and animation (i've watched film first) - they differ in the end but both are worth it.
Too bad Satelight studio had to abandone
"Fairy Tale"
. Still crossing my fingers they will change their mind and revive the project some day (
Another genre of anime worth of mentioning - type of animation with plot revolving around trapped gamers. Most bright are -
"Sword Art Online"
(aka SAO, it comes in 2 parts),
"Btoom!"
and
"Log Horizon"
. SAO is defo a leader here. Rest, like "Log Horizon" were more of a clones. SAO will see 3rd part soon and it's promissing from trailer. *thumb up*
Another animes that come to the mind are
Fate Stay Night
and
Machine-Doll wa Kizutsukanai
Last and not least -
Shingeki no Kyojin / Attack on Titan
.

psh get out log horizon is far superior to sao..there not even that similar once you get into the
NO YOU! You totaly missed the point. Initial plot is the same - gamers trapped in the virtual world. Both reveal relations between gamers in different situations(from basic rules of mmos to local jokes). But imho SAO is more original and dynamical, not to mention it was the first one of that genre. As i said earlier - rest are clones, and thats not only opinion of mine.
