What does more mature mean in the context of gaming?

It's the reasoning Tecmo Koei, Koei Tecmo, or whatever the **** their name is these days gave for turning down the fanservice in their main line fighter, Dead or Alive. Dead or Alive 6 will supposedly be more "mature" so things like breast jiggle will be toned down or removed. I assume they mean other things will be changed too.

Germany also decided to lift their often ridiculed ban over Nazi symbols and more importantly the Swastika:

I haven't read in between, only your OP and the post above this one but I have two questions for you.

What race are you?

Did you actually just censor yourself using asterisks?

- Is this cultural appropriation?
No because the definition of cultural appropriation is adoption of elements from a minority culture by members of the dominant culture. Unless you consider the dominant culture to be the games developer.

- Does culturalization breed intolerance of other cultures? Does it breed hate through lack of understanding, acknowledgement and respect?
I think it breeds hate of one's own culture for any sane person.

- Is this censorship?
Yes and it's disgusting.

- Does culturalization degrade the quality of the product?
Yes, because the game is not a 100% accurate representation of what the developer intended.

- Is this a necessary part of game localisation?
No, if you think this you should be castrated.

- Do you agree with it? Do you disagree? Are you indifferent?

Nintendo trying to crack down on Emulation again, I see.

Nintendo are stuck in the past still. Maybe one day I will be able to respect them, but I doubt it.

If only Nintendo made a store where people can download ROMs for a fee, they can salvage millions of dollars off their old games. What Nintendo did was just promote underground trading of ROMs through torrents and magnet links.

Cultural appropriation isn't a real thing, OP. I once saw a white girl post about how you shouldn't have any decorations for Day of the Dead (a Mexican holiday) unless you have hispanic heritage, yet I've seen approximately zero Mexicans complain about wearing a costume or eating sugar skulls. Culture is meant to be shared, not cordoned off.

The Army is a great experience; it sucks so much that literally nothing else will seem as bad in comparison.
