Thanks for the contribution. Censored Gaming does good content.
Perhaps this will be one of the rare times that Nintendo doesn't alter Fire Emblem for the west, but they really have a habit of altering their intellectual properties.

Reviewers should be releasing Fire Emblem reviews if they haven't already. Hopefully they are transparent and mention any censorship if there is any.

The game is out now. I haven't seen any news in regards to censorship so far.

Without a doubt it will be changed, censored in some way. It will be interesting to see what is changed.

My bets are on Gerudo, Link's crossdressing, Bolson.. to name a few.

Final Fantasy 8 Remastered is censored. I don't even know what to think anymore. People are far too sensitive these days.

Looks like RuneScape was censored again too. Names of NPCs and other stuff was probably changed too.

Linked in the above was a reddit thread from last week explaining the changes to in-game references on OSRS and a tweet from Mod Ash:

Jagex changing gambling references, calling BA gambles "lucky dips" when viewing them on mobile. Could it be that some ad companies are rejecting Jagex's ads because they are categorized the ads as gambling?
