A recent team I've used on Ultra Moon to great success

Dartrix @ Eviolite
Careful nature
EVS: 252 Hp and a few to def and some sp def (can't remember the spread but it was to make both defences equal :) )
-Light Screen
-Toxic
-Leaf Blade
-Roost

This guy is awesome, has had me some great success against many of the stronger sweepers, managing to even Toxistall a Zygarde to it's demise while barely taking a scratch

Infernape @ Life Orb
Jolly Nature
EVS: 252 Speed and Attack
-Swords Dance
-Flare Blitz
-Thunderpunch
-Close Combat

Simply deadly if left unchecked, if let to swords dance even once it ends up mowing down many pokemon on their team

Starmie @ Life Orb
Timid Nature
EVS: 252 Speed and Special Attack
-Recover
-Scald
-Psychic
-Ice Beam

a rather versatile pokemon that just has so many good moves, sometimes I'll sneak thunderbolt in there if I'm wanting to surprise people who have been used to me using a T-bolt free moveset for sometime (yay for infinite TMS since gen 5)

Garchomp @ Focus Sash
Jolly Nature
EVS: 252 speed and attack
-Swords Dance
-Earthquake
-Fire Fang
-Dual Chop

Use the Sash to get a free Swords Dance and wreck Pokes, simple!

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Careful Nature
EVS: 252 Speed and Special Defense (can be spread around depending on what you want it to defend against)
EVS: 252 Hp and Special Defense
-Curse
-Payback
-Confuse Ray
-Moonlight

Confuse and set up, so bulky it doesn't even need Double Team (which should only be considered if fighting people you know can take it anyway :P Since DT is RNG hax at times, the amount of tough battles on Pokemon Stadium for the N64 over that one move > :( ) nothing much else to say :)

Sylveon @ Life Orb
Modest
EVS: 252 speed and 252 Special attack
-Calm Mind
-Moonblast
-Psychic
-Shadow Ball

Easily the best Eeveelution for sweeping since it only needs the one calm mind usually
200m Dunge, Rc, Mage and invention accomplished, + 120 Constitution/Slayer/Range/Summoning/Woodcutting/Mining/Defence/Strength and 110m fishing, got comp/MQC and 200m Fishing/Woodcutting/Mining as well as 120 herb/Farming/Cooking most 120s just Agility, Theiving, Hunter and Prayer left

A bit of an aside, but I wish Pikachu could've kept his movepool from LetsGo. Even in the later gen, it seems like he's still so fragile and weak in comparison to those that share his typing. Now.. if he could hold a Light Ball AND an Eviolite, then he might be a viable sweeper.

I'd estimate that a massive portion of the playerbase whom do genuinely enjoy it are solely those of us whom grew up with it decades ago and experience it solely for the nostalgic factor that it brings :P .

Not knowing you personally but as someone as a whole whom would want to pick it up and try it out; I'd say don't.. unless you enjoy engaging in battles of fictional creatures -- idek how else to explain it really; as someone with over thousands of hours playing the games over the years, combined. Because ultimately, Gamefreak/The Pokemon Company hasn't been credited for having the best storytelling.. their lore is quite lackluster in the games, imho. The gameplay itself is never anything special, either. For every console they poorly attempt to utilize features not many other games do and it's overall executed poorly with their additional products added to the console to enhance the game's experience also flopping and only becoming collector's items years later.

Now the show.. that's a different story altogether.

I do have it, I'm not sure if FCS can be shared on the forums but it'll be interesting to hear what team you have! 200m Dunge, Rc, Mage and invention accomplished, + 120 Constitution/Slayer/Range/Summoning/Woodcutting/Mining/Defence/Strength and 110m fishing, got comp/MQC and 200m Fishing/Woodcutting/Mining as well as 120 herb/Farming/Cooking most 120s just Agility, Theiving, Hunter and Prayer left
