On emerald back in the day when I was hella young, I had no idea about that shit and wondered why my adamant blissey with -700HP couldn't one hit and with stand everything, instead going down in one hit. Lol. Good times.
I remember the first time i used EVs/IVs. I somehow managed to breed a nearly perfect gyarados.It was funny, because he was one-shotting foes my other pokemon, twice his level, were barely dealing slivers. Good times, good times.
I still have that gyarados, I'm trying to get gyaradosite for it-turns out I somehow don't have any. That could be crazy.
