I just found out that Pickpocket doesn't let you steal items from opponents you touch. They have to touch you. :(

I also found that Shelgon can count as Abstinence, since it doesn't eat or drink while it waits to evolve and finally fly. It's also a form of patience as Bagon spent its time stressed out and bashing its head in and being desperate to fly.

EDIT: I also discovered that Assist doesn't let you use Transform. Disappointed. :( Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!

This is the team that I use for stadium. Still want to get the r2 master ball Poké cup, pretty difficult tho. I don't own a gen 6 game. I do have a gen 5 one but never completed it. I quit halfway through 2 years ago when I got bored of Pokemon. :P

I like Tauros and it is much better off being a Mixed Sweeper in RBY.

Nice to see this thread active :) some great movesets here 200m Dunge, Rc, Mage and invention accomplished, + 120 Constitution/Slayer/Range/Summoning/Woodcutting/Mining/Defence/Strength and 110m fishing, got comp/MQC and 200m Fishing/Woodcutting/Mining as well as 120 herb/Farming/Cooking most 120s just Agility, Theiving, Hunter and Prayer left

Fight/ghost gives great type coverage. Taunt takes care of hp restoring tanks because Mewtwo is fast enough to keep them from healing with taunt. Recover let's Mewtwo stay in the battle.

trying to put together a team of six for Platinum, so far I'm pretty committed to these four:

Empoleon (water/steel)
Altaria (drag/fly)
Tangrowth (grass)
Rotom (elec/ghost)

for the last two, I'm not sure what would be best between a psychic or dark type (Gardevoir, Absol), a fighting type (Toxicroak) and a fire type (Rapidash); was also considering Gallade and Hippowdon, but I don't like them as much (latter is too similar to Tangrowth, just hate the look of the former) Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.

Gallade is pretty solid as a Psychic/Fighting, but watch out for physical attacks. It takes special ones better. Medicham is pretty good too, as it's reasonably fast and has Pure Power.

I bred a Shiny Froakie after 20 eggs the other day. Once it evolves...well let's just say that a spray horn or two will sound off. Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!

That reminds me, I still need to try doing a mono run on Platinum. I've got to Olivine City in Gold with a mono Grass team of the following;

Bayleef (Mud Slapper)
Skiploom (Paraflinch)
Gloom. Thinking of evolving into Bellossom to make the most defences out of it
Exeggcute (Rollout and Confusion user)
Sunkern (This thing is so bad :( )
Weepinbell (General attacker) Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!
