I just went to a wonderful Vegetarian Chinese place with a group of friends! The majority of the food was actually vegan consisting of dumplings, salt and pepper "squid", peking "duck" etc, which I was really open to trying, and I must say it was absolutely delicious and I really felt like I had so much energy after it.

I had a cheese and pickled beetroot sandwich for lunch followed by a couple of all butter shortbread biscuits and a cup of tea. Shortbread made with margarine is yukky.
My neighbor bought me over a dish she made of sausages cooked in canned pumpkin soup. Being polite I accepted it and added some chilli chutney and a bit of seasoning and it was nice.
