Yes I just had lots of Christmas food also! A lovely roast turkey with a side of lovely greens and fruit salsa! As well as a nice serving of Christmas pudding and ice cream to finish off the meal.

Nice way to enjoy time with family and friends.

Sounds very yummy :) We had a delicious meatloaf with gravy, fresh and caramelised potatoes, red cabbage and some great beer! Going to dig into some Risalamande this evening!

I've never had Christmas pudding tbh. Although we did have Christmas cake. Is yum also.

We had our usual Christmas lunch of roast turkey, pigs in blankets, stuffing (this year it was cranberry, orange and roasted chestnut ), roast potatoes, roast parsnips, carrots and brussel sprouts with some bread sauce, cranberry sauce and gravy. We washed it down with a glass of white zinfandel wine. This was followed by Christmas pudding and brandy butter. Definitely a 9/10. :D

I'm having Christmas dinner tomorrow night. All the restaurants are closed today so a friend is picking me up and he's buying Christmas dinner for me as a Christmas present. We may not have a traditional dinner, but that's OK by me...he's footing the bill. :)

After yesterday's excesses I went with the healthy option today: a giant smoothie made with:

1 banana
1 Orange
Ginger
Blueberries
Strawberries
Spinach
Fat-free Yogurt
Cranberries

We had left over turkey with red and orange peppers, onion and mushrooms in a cheese sauce served with rice and petit pois peas.

@ Rooh. Your smoothie looks delicious except for the spinach. I'd probably put the fruit and ginger in a bowl then spoon some yogurt over it. Was it stem ginger from a jar or fresh? I love stem ginger chooped into small pieces and mixed with vanilla ice cream.

Honestly you can't taste the spinach at all, I'm not fond of it on its own either :P
The ginger was fresh root and it just adds a nice bit of a kick.

Tonight, my friend is buying me supper as a belated Christmas present. We decided to try out a fairly new BBQ restaurant that has rave reviews.
