After yesterday's excesses I went with the healthy option today: a giant smoothie made with:
1 banana
1 Orange
Ginger
Blueberries
Strawberries
Spinach
Fat-free Yogurt
Cranberries
I'm a huge fan of homemade smoothies! Although I also like to include oats in mine because it's a really quick and efficient way of having breakfast! That, and it tastes great

So I went away on a little retreat and had some nice Indian food just then, a Red Lentil Dal with some Roti Bread and Papadams. I love to have some mango chutney with it as well which adds a little sweetness to the otherwise spicy Dal. Would definitely recommend giving it a go.

Oats are a good idea for a breakfast smoothie!
I forgot to mention I often add some pumpkin and sunflower seeds.
Another favourite is apple, ginger, carrot and orange.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?
Chicken curry with rice, yummy!

Apples and oranges are a big yes from me! I haven't tried the ginger and carrot, but a recommendation I have to keep things low cost and also healthy is to include frozen fruits/vegetables in your smoothies! I do it all the time and have found it to be a game changer

Just had the same thing as well! I love curry, so I decided to try and make myself a Japanese Chicken Karaage Curry with rice and pickled vegetables. I don't mean to boast about my cooking but I've got to say it tasted incredible!

I just had halloumi, broccoli and mange tout with lightly spiced couscous. For dessert I had Christmas pudding and brandy butter.
Sounds delicious Megycal, hope you enjoyed it!
