To be fair. I support people that wish to pirate a product if it's censored or if the distributors cut content to sell off on the side. In those kinds of cases, you're talking about re-distributors. In those cases I'd say to support the original creators by buying from them. Cut out the middle man that is the liscencors if they are censoring the content.

Getting back on topic, this



scene here still tugs at my heartstrings. Mahou Shoujo Ai is dark, extremely, extremly, dark, for a VN, but that scene right there, when Ai is first starting to open up to Akitoshi, it's written with sheer brilliance. Mahou Shoujo Ai is the first time I've actually felt like the characters weren't just plot elements, the first time I'd actually felt a connection to them. Leader of The Enemy ||

Speaking of VN titles, though, Kiminozo has the best. Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.

. It's generic sounding title, but it's a series I'll hold up to the ends of the earth. I've discussed the anime adaptation in the anime discussion thread at least twice that I know of.

It's the only VN with a H-anime adaption I've ever come across with a serious enough following to get a Manga adaptation, spring-off games, as well as numerous doujinshi releases, even years after the release of Ai-san, the third, and last VN to be released in the series. Not only was the first one in the series Mahou Shoujo Ai, adapted into an Anime, an anime that one could consider more mainstream than most mainstream anime these days, worth watching for any serious fan of Mystery, Sci-fi/fantasy, and Horror, so was the final one in the series, Mahou Shoujo Ai-san.

It was Colors' Flagship series, a brilliant piece of work. I just wish there was more.

There are many other good VN's out there, things like the Fate series, or the Sengoku Rance series, but the Mahou Shoujo Ai series has this certain charm that I have yet to see really replicated. Leader of The Enemy ||

Utawarerumono is definitely my favourite series.

I like a lot of Aquaplus/Leaf stuff. I also have a fondness for Lilith Soft (plus their numerous other studios) games. Then there is Nitroplus.
