Ouch. Yeah, that looks to be a mess. On the plus side, from reading the comments there at least it seems you can download the patch free at MangaGamer. Better than some content restoration patches that have beeen put out. You should never have to pay for something that was originally in the game to begin with.
Jast and MangaGamer get this at least. Other localizers not so much. JAST even planned from the beginning, and released a somewhat under the counter free reestoration patch for some of the heriones routes in Shiny Days when they were forced to cut out content due to legal issues. Says something right there. Government intervenes, and they still find a way to get the content to the fans. Tells me who I want to give my money to.
But yeah. That Dies Irae localization looks like a mess for sure. How they managed to get that out, I don't know.

Welp Love in Space is aiming for an end of May, beginning of June release of their next title Shining Song Starnova. In the final stretches of debugging now.
In other news, both Sekai Project and Mangagamer have managed to get a number of visual novels onto GOG as of two days ago.
For Sekai, they got the full catalog of Love in Space games, Sunrider: Mask of Arcadius, Sunrider: Liberation Day, and Sunrider Academy, as well as fault milestone 1&2.
For Mangagamer, they got the first five Higurashi volumes, as well as *eden.
So a nice move forward on the VN sale front. First DRM free release of Higurashi, and *eden. Not 100% sure if you could have gotten the fault games on denpasoft, but you may have been able to.
Looking forward to more soon. Do hope JAST can get some of theirs onto there as well. They've gotten some really good ones over the years after all.

I played the game back on Hallowen. Yeah it was enjoyable, and fit the mood of the season, but causing suicide? Really?!
Have these people never read a bloody book in their life? I've read numerous childrens books that are freakier than that, and would be more prone to mess someone up. And they are trying to claim that this is whar's driving their kids to suicide?
Give me a freiking break people.

It's official. Valve is discriminatiing against Idols. Nearly halfway through September and they
still
haven't allowed Love in Space to release their newest game onto their platform. They had it released on Mangagamer, GOG, and Denpasoft by the second week of July.
Yet after two whole months, Valve is still stopping them from releasing it. It's just ridiculous.

Baldr Force was finally culturized. Too bad it is the kiddie version, oh well, I'll pass.
I haven't seen any other new releases of note. Anything I missed?
There's Love in Space's new release Shining Song Starnova. I've yet to play it, (don't have the money to spare to buy it really)but it's supposed to be pretty decent.
I've started going through Noble Works myself personally. Liking it so far.

I checked it out, but I don't like idols, even if it has the "psychological horror" tag.
I did try Majikoi, but I didn't like it. I think school settings are just too overdone for my tastes at the moment. Maybe in the future I'll be able to stomach them again.
I guess I can replay the Utawarerumono in anticipation and hope that they will be releasing the newer games in the west.
