Had my booster yesterday.

Had the Moderna vaccine this time. First 2 were Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine which were great. No issues at all. Not even a sore arm.

This Moderna jab is killing my arm. I can hadly lift it it's that bad. Had ice pack on it for a while but no help at all so gave that up.

Still happy to have the booster though. Makes Me feel as though I'm doing my part to save the World.

See if and when Jab 4 is due... I can see it coming. :P

Thats how my arm was after my first Pfizer jab. I had the vaccine in the morning and by the afternoon it started to hurt. By the evening I could barely move it. The good news is that by the evening of the next day it was a much better and kept improving. :)

edit: The second one wasn't as bad and neither was the booster ( also Pfizer ).

My first two jabs were AZ and both affected me quite badly... the booster was Pfizer and apart from a sore arm, no ill effects.

I just read that there's a big wave of the new (Omicron) variant predicted for January, so I'm glad I got boosted.

My first Pfizer was kinda bad, I didn't have really any side affects aside from some fairly mild fatigue and a crippled arm (I couldn't use it at all for like 2 days) but other than that it was totally fine. The second one was even easier.

We'll see when I get a booster I guess.

People aged over 30 are going to be able to book their boosters from tomorrow. I'm not sure if that only applies to England or the whole UK. I'm happy about that because my eldest son is in that age group. I doubt he'll get an appointment before Christmas but I can hope he will. I'm now wondering when my youngest son and his wife will be able to get their boosters.

edit to add: It was announced this evening that people over the age of 18 will be able to book their booster this week if its 3 months and over since their 2nd jab. That means my youngest son and daughter-in-law are eligible.

I got the corona virus.

I had suspicion a week ago, went and got tested and it turned back positive. Been in quarantine for 5 days now.

EDIT: and I have the 2 vaccines, still got infected. I'll get the booster shot in late January.
