Thats good news that your relatives got better, but are you saying you got Covid 19 in the past?

Yep had it April 2019 when it was first around in Tenerife. Remember they were on the News for closing the hotels and having police standing guard while they kept everyone inside.

My Brother and his Wife were on holiday there and just made it out 1 day sooner then Tenerife's hotel lockdowns.

I asked him for a T-Shirt and he brought me back Covid lol. He also had it. Both of us made a recover but that dreaded cough was with me for 8-10 weeks and nothing I could do. Bugger to get rid of though.

No news on my 3rd jab. Thought I'd be told by letter by now as it's less then 3 weeks away until I can or should be able to get it.

Rather have it sooner incase I have a reaction. Not that I did with the first 2. Just don't want to feel crap on Christmas day.

I didn't wait to be invited for the jab. After they said we could book up to a month in advance I went on to the NHS website. Click on the link for 'Get the latest Covid-19 advice' then select book Covid booster. You'll need your NHS number. As long as its over 5 months since your 2nd jab you'll get a list of places and dates. I went to Boots in the nearest town. I was able to get a date
exactly
6 months after my 2nd shot. :)

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/nov/17/wearing-masks-single-most-effective-way-to-tackle-covid-study-finds

Results from more than 30 studies from around the world were analysed in detail, showing a statistically significant 53% reduction in the incidence of Covid with mask wearing and a 25% reduction with physical distancing.

yet still people dont wear them or are even "anti" mask. still mind boggling

Apart from a very sore arm for several hours during the evening and night I've had no side effects from the booster. Less than 48 hours after I had the shot my arm was almost back to normal. :)

I'm still waiting for my third booster jab. I think we have to wait.

But good things are happening, although there are more people contracting Covid less people are dying because we are at 90% vaccinated.
