The function of binding yourself as the original owner to a high value tradable item. (tradable rares)
This will mark your character as the owner of this item. (as shown in the right click / examine)
A maximum of 5 bound items can be created per character.
Only the original owner can reverse this process.
**The original owner may reclaim bound items back at any time.
Bound items are marked as "owned by [name]", as shown in the right click / examine.
Bound items become valueless in trade (only the original owner can undo this process).
Bound items can be loaned as normal (while retaining the ability to earn/loan hours).
If a bound item is dropped, it goes back to its original owner.
If a player is wearing a bound item (NOT KEEPSAKED) or stored in inventory and dies in battle, it will revert to its original owner.
As a non-owner:
- you can take photobooth photos.
- you can keepsake a bound item in a SPECIAL keepsake slot, to access this slot you can unlock it with tradable keepsake tokens.
- Special keepsake tokens can be traded / purchased or obtained as rare in-game loot.
- Special keepsake tokens have a time duration that can extend the timer, such as 24 hours, 48 hours, etc.
- keepsaked bound items can be used as a cosmetic override.
- keepsaked bound items will NOT return to the original owner if you die in battle.
- **keepsaked bound items will NOT return to original owner as long as the keepsake token timer is active.
- Special keepsake tokens can only be used on bound items.
- Keepsaked bound items show the original owner's name in the examining.
**if the original owner has requested the bound item back but it is keepsaked, it will remain in keepsake as long as the timer is active.
Once a bound item has been requested back by its original owner, it is no longer possible to extend the time or store it in a keepsake slot.
