It does become cumbersome when multiple high levels or clans crash the stealing creations worlds and their main objective is just to pk or get the most kills, however, there are clans that make stealing creation games non-combat already. This is not a 100% reliable source so I would support a stealing creation world that has no combat for people that want to strictly skill and leave the other worlds the same.
I do like the idea of tunnels or some new aspect to the current mini-game.

I really think getting resources to your base SHOULD be a challenge. That is why the tunnels would just be an exit from the base. Coupled with the Mystic defending the base, my hopes are that the battle would be taken away from the bases and into the field.
Its just good gameplay to keep folks from getting supplies to the base. And having to do so at a distance from the base makes this more of a challenge without limiting the combat in any way.
