lets say we removed combat from the game. You no longer need herblore for potions, you no longer need runecrafting for runes, you no longer need construction for barriers, you no longer need agility the escape the killers(not that anyone uses them lol), you dont need crafting and smithing for armor, you wouldnt need cooking for food, the game would simply be to easy.... Plus since everyone would try hoarding the clay everyone would receive less points a game.
Lets see you defend this w/o Completely changing the game kid.sorry bud this aint happenin! if it does you will be hated by many people just like me.

Why? If you want to discuss removing combat from the game please take it to another thread as this thread has nothing to do with removing combat from SC.
Who are you talking to?
I've stated repeatedly throughout this thread that I love the combat and my suggestions only increase it.
If you want a non-combat game please just go to a non-combat SC clan.
This thread has absolutely nothing to do with removing combat from the game.

You obviously don't understand what is being suggested here, haven't bothered to read the thread, or possibly just have a much different idea than I about what is fun and challenging.
The tunnels are just an exit from the base and folks would still need to make the run back to the base to deposit their loot. It takes the battle away from the bases where you would likely encounter strong resistance from the opposing team.
I like that.
If the meaning of the game for you is killing "little froobs" and therefor "making killing extremly hard" then I completely understand your lack of support.
I happen to get a much greater thrill killing a much higher level player than myself in a fair fight.
I find little challenge or satisfaction in repeatedly killing lower level players. I guess you do and that's just fine.
And if you find it fun and rewarding to trap folks in their base until all their supplies run out, and then repeatedly killing lower level unarmed players then go for it.
I just happened to get tired of this about the second time I did it.
And lastly, Why do you care if it makes the game easier for "little froobs"? If the game is easier for them then there would likely be more of them for you to chase down and get that easy kill.

Also another thing id like to point out is getting owned by high levels is just part of runescape. I was a little froob once in my runescape career also. I remember the days of me being barraged at my base and just logging out and quiting because I was so damn mad. But now its my turn to get revenge and be the mean high player :) . Everyone will get the chance to be a mean high player some day so I geuss it will never really matter. But if we add this the little froobs wont get the full rs experience.

I'm an avid stealing creation player, but spawntrapping just straight out ****** people off. Tunnels like castle Wars but with clay in them would be just awseome!! also u should get some (not full) but some xp from the game. Stealing creation needs to balance out with soul wars by getting xp!!!!! i Know u get double xp from clay but still!!

The game would be better with not being trapped in your base or the armor that you lost on the battlefield sent back to the base to be reused. That way you don't lose all your items and can't advance.
The Tunnel Idea: Great but not just to one fog location. It should randomly place you in a fog outside of the base. Instead of a Tunnel be a teleport.
The AoE Damage from The base would be good, make the base bigger and have a wall that only the team can cross over the other team can destroy and the initial team can rebuild. This would encourage players to do more then just melee.
Players who step inside of the AoE Zone will be damaged by 10% of their health every 10seconds. It starts over if they step out and back in.
It might even be better to set up the game map a little bit differently instead of in a corner have each team have a base on either side with some basic level 1 resource gathering pits. It allows players to get started in making their tools and start out into the battle field. It would thus reduce the amount of "Spawn Camping" or "Trapping" done but still allow players to do so just from a distance and give players more room to maneuver out into the battlefield.
It might also be nice to have a game mode where There is No PVP and it's all about skilling. Reduced Point Gains for this Method Though.
