I would definitely love this, as would other Asian players.
On a game that has PvM as late-game content and combat system that requires quick movement, prayer/gear switching, playing with minimum 150-160 ping is not ideal. There are some things which are almost impossible to do because some mechanics don't give you enough time to react. Movement is especially terrible. Whereas there are players who are able to switch to dual-wield melee from other cb style and use bladed dive in less than half a second, it's impossible to do for someone playing in the Indian sub-continent.
The game does not feel smooth at all, everything comes with noticeable delay, which should not be the case for a game of the scale of Runescape. It makes learning higher bosses difficult with all the extra ping disadvantages that players have to face. There are many servers who barely ever have more than 400 players on them, I don't see why a server in Asia is not something that can be considered, especially after the Steam release last year.
Really hoping for a server closer to home so our experience on the game is better.
