If you look at Kags V5, section 77, I've been suggesting T85 shield rewards from Ports for several years now. :)

although your idea is interesting, i'd personally prefer a different effect than ones that already exist such as the spirit shields. I also think that the price of 250 trade goods for each shield is incredibly steep! wouldn't want to lose that in a pvp battle... there goes months of effort lol and months ahead to re-obtain. sounds awesome! i don't know how that would work for combat though... O_o

perhaps instead of being like defenders giving dual wield and shield abilities, they'd give two handed and shield abilities, just like a shieldbow... only for melee and magic too! :D

so it would effectively be a "two handed offensive shield" :P
