I appreciate Dong U Dead (and his alts) for reporting every single thing they think is offensive to Forum Help. Somebody needs to make those mods do work. :)

Woot, woot I got a compliment :D
Not sure if you realise, but that doesn't sound like a compliment at all... but more like sarcasm :(

Hey all,

I'm happy to see that this thread is still being used here and there. I apologize for never really being able to keep the original posts updated, but quite frankly, this thread is still achieving its purpose through and through by having people post messages of appreciation. I think people take a lot of things in communities like RuneScape's for granted and one way to prevent that is open appreciation and remembering folks that moved on from this game.

I fit into the category of those that have moved on, but I still have countless amounts of appreciation and admiration for many, many folks that I've met in this game and the few that I've even met in real life. You all know who you are - keep on rocking and thank you.

@Smurf: It would be nice if there was some way to hand off this thread to anyone, really, without letting it float off and eventually be consumed by the page 51 monster (which I assume is still a thing). The original posts do need to be updated, but the six years or so of history in this thread is definitely more important than that matter. This is especially because of the previous appreciation thread from 2009 or so, whose author I've forgotten, already being gone and beyond recovery. I rather not have that happen with this thread, even though it's possible that the Compliments forum as a whole is fairly slow these days and it would take a while for the thread to completely die if it were not a sticky.

Unfortunately, thread ownership transfer while maintaining the thread itself is not a thing. As a result, I would appreciate it if this thread were left as it is. If you would like, you can make a few posts somewhere on these next couple pages to maintain an index that I can then refer to at the top of the original post. I'm unsure as to how useful an index is anymore, however.
Just your friendly neighborhood team player.

Hey Vand,

Instead of having the indexes at the start of the thread, which clearly can't be updated as you've moved on, just replace them with 'Reserved' or something else. Maybe your above post to let others know in the future that you wouldn't like thread ownership changed. Would also prevent people from thinking it's a very outdated thread with posts 2-4 not being updated often. :P
