Just recently finishing While Guthix Sleeps I greatly appreciated The Sound of Guthix. Not hearing it in chronological order it reminded me of the Glacialis series. I enjoy the strong earthy drums that resonate throughout the piece.
In second place I would go with All's Fairy in Love and War, perhaps for the same reason a strong string rhythm and a mesmerizing flute line.
Ground Scape is also a favourite as it has a driving pickup note rhythm that moves the piece along and you always want to get through whatever you are doing much faster.
I don't play it often but when completing task number 350 it was nice to hear Task at Hand. It really made me feel I accomplished something.
I suppose I should thank the music team for reading and responding to my tweet in July for sacred a capella music in game. The choice to go with an untrained choir for the monastry was an artistic one and I appreciate it. That said, can we have a trained choir in the future too?
