^--- no idea what he's talking about, I'm here to compliment you on the new quest. Pure poetry. It's quests like this that keep me drawn to this beautiful game.
my new favorite song is Citharede Requiem. my only problem with it is how hard it is to type in the search thing so I can play it >.< citharede is hard to spell...
Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

Born To Do This actually isn't bad, but at the end of the day, it's not exactly Mahler.
I think the games with the best soundtracks ever were the early Medal of Honor games, but they had Michael Giacchino, so I can only dream.
The ambient soundscapes are really good though. More of them please.

I have listened to all 624/808 songs I unlocked (took some time :o ). As music taste varies depending on mood, my favourite tracks are in groups. The Dungeoneering music is awesome and recommended enough that those songs will not be listed here.

Techno-style:
Animal Apogee
We Are The Fairies (some people might find the triangle/cowbell sound annoying)

Best Triumphant/Heroic music:
But We Can Fight (Zanik's Theme bothered me, because here was a theme that with a few tweaks could be Heroic and awesome. On the off-chance that there was an official remix, I listened to the tracks unlocked with finishing Chosen Commander and found BWCF! Are there waterphone sound effects at times? This track deserves a real instrument re-do.)

Adventure:
The Phoenix (Greatly reminds me of Zelda)
Destiny
Path of Peril
On The Wing (Reminds me of Lord of the Rings at certain parts)
Chain of Command
Route of the Problem (replace the metronome-drumstyle with anything else and it'd be good)
Task At Hand (Your Pokemon is Evolving!)
Zanik's Theme

Relaxing:
Waterfall
Creature Cruelty
These Stones
Waiting For Battle (Real piano? Far too short)
Crystal Cave
Crystal Castle
Lightness
Neverland (Weird timing)
Nightfall (Only listen to the beginning, the 'brass' kills the 2nd part :( )

Ambient Background Music:
Poison Dreams
Melzar's Maze (This reminded me of Battlespire, an old Elder Scrolls game, oddly alike Melzar's Maze.)
Waiting Game (demented musicbox, stop listening when the drums start)

FUN:
Black Zabeth
Toktz-Ket-Et-Mack

Fight Music:
Route of All Evil
Distant Land (first part is rather depressing)
Pirates of Penance

I have no absolute favorite by Animal Apogee, Dreamstate, Travelers Tale, Troubadour Dance, and the unnamed song that plays by the abbey in one piercing note are at the top of my RuneScape music list.
edit: almost forgot Honkeytonky Parade
