Hmm, I just posted some compliments about this then saw this thread. oops.

A few of my favorite songs include, the Citharede choirs song about Elspeth, Architect of War, Wending through the willows, I still love the song Horizon, but to be honest I liked it alot more back when it was MIDI before the major in game music overhaul. The same goes for the song, In the pits, Work Work Work, and several others in the old MIDI format.
Also, I really like the song the roving musicians band at the Citharedes temple plays, I forget it's name, sorry. Add to that Diangos tango <---not sure that's correct, and DC 2 Infinity mash-up (great dance song!) makes me want to hit the floor, hardcore. The song Black Zabeth is great, too, another good dance song with Infinity mash-up being my favorite of the two.
If you ever do a remake of the song "In the pits", let Megadeth do it B) Thank you :P

Starting from the top I stop at song 2, a new song included amongst the songs for the new Remade Kharidian quests.
A song for Khnum.
This song is an amazing song. It really takes a person to another time, and place.

It's a song that has two distinct sides to it when I listen to it. The first side being represented by the plucked, timid, and unsure figure in the beginning. Then enter the second figure, a bold, sure figure with luxurious and fluid movement sweeping in, and taking hold of the first figures hand, (this figure being represented by the sure scrapey boldness of the second violin part) Amazing.
They both dance and whirl and clap, and you become mesmerized at thier movements still filled with a hint of unsurity, mixed with sureness, that leaves you enthralled, excited for the next move, waiting in captured anticipation as your heart soars in time with every move. Incredible song, filled with joy, and trust, and hope.

The 2 parts complete each other perfectly. Both becoming more than they were alone. Epic song. It makes me really want to dance. :)

Architect of War.
This song is unlocked in the citadel.
Despite it's name, this song does not evoke images or thoughts of war for me.
It is a peaceful, contemplative song. It makes me long to be more than I am. To be unbound in ways that I am currently bound. To explore far off places as a lone traveler. To sit back as an observer with infinite presence and watch the events of an entire universe unfold before me.
For those of you familiar with the old T.V. series, Cosmos, with Dr. Carl Sagan, this song brings to mind his travels in the Ship of the imagination, where he traveled the vast reaches of space to explore and observe the wonder and mystery. His travels were accompanied by a tune that Runescapes "Architect of War" reminds me of. Although, they are different, they both evoke the same feelings in me.
A lovely, distinctly unique tune unlike many others, this song stands as one of my favorite Runescape songs.

There's been a lot of good music added to the game past year, I really can't decide which is my most favorite. Wending through the Willows is just one of them, I also like all tracks from the new Al Kharid quests. My compliments! :)

I was just going through all the music and selecting the best for my playlist. It brings back memories I have to say. I think you guys have done a really good job of the music, 907 songs of at least decent quality and length. Most of my favourites are the oldies - ones you hear in F2P and some others.
~Ballad of Enchantment
~Expanse
~Flute Salad
~Forever
~Greatness
~Homescape
~Horizon
~Newbie Melody
~Spirit
And I have to add some cool ones; 'A song for Khnum' and 'DCII Mash-Up (Inifinity Mix)'
