Okay, here's my pick for 'Best new music tracks of 2012'...
The RuneSpan music tracks. These are all beautiful and relaxing, and add greatly to the magical atmosphere.
Followed by 'Taverley Folk' and 'Taverley Frolics'. These are fun, lighthearted bits of music.

Newbie Melody, so many memories, 2006 & 2007 on tutorial island. Emperor, Garden and the Castle Wars theme song. Also the new Runespan music is very easy going and relaxing for training Runecrafting!

I like a lot of the music, i'm fond of many of the old midi tracks but I know nostalgia plays a big part in that.

Flash Factory
Black of Knight
Barb Wire
Armageddon
The tracks from fish flingers
Fishing
Eruption
Being a fan of video game music in general, Runescape's music has a uniqueness that I don't really hear in most other game soundtracks.
