Great work from the team! As a result it looks like the community is getting stronger as players put aside their differences, treat each other respectfully, and work together in building a better community.

There are so many posts you lot have to deal with on the daily, Im surprised you can make it through the day without experiencing a nominal level of ataxia. Thanks for your service, moving/locking threads, all your helpful advice you give to the player community.
I hope if i recognize some of you in game to give you an E-hug.
See you round!
For a while the moderation made me feel that the forums were over-policed, a stressful environment, and unwelcoming.
I feel that some effort has been made, intentional or not, to reflect these issues. I really feel that this has been noticed. I feel like there is effort being put in towards changing these opinions to make the community better.
More specifically:
When appropriate for the situation more threads are being moved rather than locked.
Some posts that weren't always the most polite or rational have been left more often, this helps promote a conversation while letting the players say what they need to say, while still removing the negative comments directed at other users.
The messages being left after forum moderation occurs are important, I feel that effort is being made to make these comments less stressful, more helpful, and more positive.
For me these small changes haven't gone unnoticed. I really do appreciate them. More of this will go a long way with me. Every player matters, even the ones I don't like...
Going the extra step when you reach these opportunities makes all the difference. Though when you give the shaft to some players it's pretty hilarious, it really does ruin the forums. I have noticed the efforts being put in to change outward appearances regarding these scenarios.
I appreciate it when the time is taken to calmly explain the situation, no matter how bad the situation is, and still take these extra step for that player when you can. It helps the community in more ways than can be taken at surface value.
Thank you for making these changes. There are too many moderators to name. Thank you for choosing to take those extra steps, even though you didn't have to.
Being able to talk about the issues in-game would be the next step. After the lock goes up the player has no chance of closure on the issue. It can cause the issue to escalate. I think the previously mentioned changes have helped with this issue though.

, thank you very much for those words, much appreciated. I know that several Forum Moderators - myself included - wouldn't mind answering additional questions in-game. In fact you'll see several encouraging this every once in a while. Of course, privacy must be respected and the forums and game are two different things. It is good to hear you have seen improvement overall though!

Now there's a name I've not come across in awhile. Not all of the fmods currently on the team would even remember that name!
However, as one of the old farts of the team I certainly do, and have to say it's been a very very long while since I've heard anything regarding Aurum.
