Hero Items

So I decided to bring Hero items in to discussion because I feel hero items go somewhat unseen and don't get much of a spotlight.
My personal opinion on Hero Items is they are freaking amazing.
When I find myself using a Hero Item it brings out my inner masculine alpha male.
If you really take the time to look at effects and logic put in to these hero items I do find it quite amazing and hope it continues with the future Hero Items they may choose to release.


Let me know your thoughts on Hero Items in general or maybe even new Hero Items/effects you would like to see! \_(-.-)_/

I like how HSR will always be the top luck ring, even if a tier 5 luck is released. And Tavia has neat effects. Tony's is unusual, probably overpowered.

It'd be neat maybe to try to wear the max number of hero items. Maybe Jagex could release other hero slot items, like pants and a shirt, boots, etc. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

What do y'all think about the gem sack? Why is this super rare token worth so much? We do have the shadow gem sack, which is nearly as pretty.

Is anyone saving up for this phat-like token? Should any token in rs even be that rare/expensive? I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

@Bryan Musson I don't think I've ever seen any hero item in-game besides Orlando Smith's hat! Super interesting that each hero item is worth billions. I can see how OSH is worth the price but the ROI on the other items may be hard to justify!

overall I think hero items are an amazing addition to rs3 because people LOVE them :D

Why is HSR up in price? Is supply diminished by fewer doing arch, or had demand increased?

I use the death ring in combat, only liked HSR for the tele near the farming patch. I actually hope it gains new teles in the future. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

I noticed that many people purchased a Luck of the Dwarves for use in Archeology, so perhaps demand for HSR increased for the same reason. It does increase the chance of tetracompass pieces, clue scrolls, etc. I personally might prefer a LOTD because it's much less expensive.

HSR imo is only worth buying if you have basically every other combat upgrade. It's really just a luxury good that you really don't need unless you have nothing better to spend you money on. The proc rate is so low than it's not worth buying if you're getting it just to x2 drops.
