Tuffty how does a token have a price of 11k yet buy and sell actively above for around 5m each and the price not update?.

We don't know the "criteria" or trading volume required to update items. I do think that it is clear that the GE mechanics need to be updated in 2020. There are many items which the GE guide price is vastly outdated and doesn't correspond to the items' true value.

I can respect the item update criteria and incremental updates being a "safeguard" measure to prevent manipulation, but the current outdated prices can also negatively affect players under that same notion due to "crashing items" having an a much higher GE guide price.

Really, what's needed here is a GE update to modernize how it functions. ;)

If we could modernize the functions that would really help out for alot of people i believe. but jatex already has a tight agenda lately so i wonder when that comes on it.

the 2 things ive come across is the photo booth which has been a issue for at least the past 2 years and the chat length. sometimes i want to type something out like boss mechanics and halfway i find out i reached the type cap in the chat. i kinda get why they capped the chat tho. some ppl would spam or that just the servers cant hold that much data. but i think the photo booth shouldnt be a problem. if i recall correctly the website has been updated but that update hasnt been crossed with the ingame client yet. if that happens people can use the photobooth again?. or am i thinking too simple about the issue?. trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

The photo booth yes I agree with you it's time it was fixed. Been too long.

Also the 2,000 cap limit has been here since day 1. Funny thing is Jagex staff get a 5,000 limit. Would be nice is everyone had 5,000 limit. It's been asked for by the Community for years.

Hopefully in the next few years we may and I say " May " have a new forum. It's so needed.

that would be really nice. but with the virus etc i think jatex already did alot of great stuff with not much tools to work with.

like some updates are better than others but thats just opinion. but overall they did a great job this year.

Small edit: not to assume anything. just putting my thoughts on the table.

A great way to have players that like to collect and sell stock piles, is to have stock piles. like have animations of lets say ores shows a small medium big large pile etc or for herbs show a small to medium big or large herb pile maybe sacs or for gold a small to medium to big or large gold pile! or ingots plus gold pieces :D etc go from a small pile to a big pile is what I'm gathering at, where they maybe could see there hard work of playing in action. If they wanted to make a goal they can set the limit or have a no limit and just animatation maybe they get rewarded for how big a load it gets maybe a new skill category called banking or merchanting or savings but that's something else what I was getting at is stock piles in the game, could just keep the banking the same and all that good stuff just integrate stock pile location teleport at each bank or so or idk come up with something. I think that would be interesting idea for players to see their gathering* in action but when you withdraw it could be the same as normal banking putting it into a note like the usual inventory system for items like if it is noted or not but still have the integer amount there like usual but if creators want to get into by all means deck it out. It might be quick attachment and not break the game play but I'm not too sure if it will or won't, what do you all think, Just a friendly player suggestion. :)

that sounds like a fun idea, but seems to be a lot of work tbh

being a shameless hoarder myself, I love watching stuff pile up in my bank *cough* biannual loot tab dump *cough*, i'm content with just seeing the numbers gradually increase and having a 'pile' icon that changes overtime would be a cool addition (probably not high on jagex priority list though)

RE merchant skill: new mechanic -> anyone who obnoxiously lowball gets an auto 1 hour mute + trading ban. ;)
