I would support a black halloween mask, orange party hat, baby blue santa hat --- > possibly a brown hat in a limited pvm during the holiday (mimic boss)... good concept probably won't happen.
Best wishes to all.

Orange partyhat would be so cool.
Other ideas I’ve seen are black partyhat, green Santa hat, gold Santa hat.

From a few pages back with regards to Steam. This should help build the player base. With larger player base, over time demand for rares will rise because more people will be working towards affording them. I think any news about an expanding player base will benefit rare prices going up. Mobile 2021 is another positive catalyst.

It would be cool to see new versions of these holiday items. We've seen the black santa hat years ago, and it would be cool if there were new colored partyhats and h'ween masks introduced.
OSRS has a black partyhat, and we've been teased about one on RS3 so many times. The Christmas Jumper (Partyhat) even has a black phat on it.
Perhaps we'll see one on RS3, one of these days....

I agree that the addition of RS3 and OSRS on Steam will be very positive in attracting new, and possibly returning players back to Runescape. I'm also curious about whether or not we'll be seeing targeted updates to support these new and returning players. I'd love to see new "beginner" quests and events, as well as incentives and promotions for players to play on Steam. A new cosmetic on Solomon General Store, for example for players who login and play on Steam for X number of minutes, and/or hours would be neat. These could also be in the form of achievements.
In terms of the economy, I think the increase in total number of players will help revitalize the economy. There are some items that have seen little to no demand due to the amount of maxed players. Discontinued items would likely see an increase in demand. I'd like to see new holiday themed items to cater to the influx of new players, and perhaps as a celebration for the game's milestone and addition to Steam. New discontinued/holiday items may also serve as more accessible holiday themed items for these folks, which may be necessary considering how the discontinued market continues down a path of becoming a market that's essentially a circle that gets smaller and smaller as rare prices over time have reached new highs.

I would love a white santa hat.
If a new santa hat were introduced, how would you like to see it make its way into Runescape? Through a holiday themed event as an item? As a cosmetic token? Do you think there should be a limited quantity, similar to Holly Wreaths?
I'd love to see a white santa hat, especially if the style were unique compared to the black and red santa hats.
@Theos - that's a really neat idea around a new Santa hat being a different shape than BSH and RSH. I was hoping BSH would have taken the same shape and form as RSH, but since that's not the case, continuing the trend of a new design is actually quite exciting!

While it is okay to express disappointment over the recent removal of the sticky, the reality is that you have made it clear that you would contest the action on FMR for a J-Mod to review. It would be best to wait for your official answer answer from a J-Mod there.
However, expressing intention to cut around the process and go F-Mod and J-Mod shopping for a desired result, is wholly inappropriate. This is also a Chat Lounge, not a thread to express discontent about recent moderator actions. For these reasons, your post above has been hidden.
Please continue chatting as one usually does on a chat thread.
All the best,
Oops, looks like I was the first hidden post on this thread! Woopsie! Sorry.
@Kathy appreciate your support of the ID lounge. Thank you for encouraging the community to continue chatting - some great discussion happening. Hopefully we will regain the glue soon.
A few interesting facts to mention~
* 4 players returned to the RSOF for the first time since the last ID Chat Lounge thread to post on this thread.
* This is the only RSOF Chat Lounge thread with multiple posts every day, without skipping a single day for over 3 weeks.
* We have built an AWESOME community here and this is just getting started! Thanks to all for the support and for the Discord and in-game messages.
* High fives all around to everyone here. I'm excited to continue community building here in ID. Great enthusiasm and discussions happening every day.

Wow, I had no idea the partyhat jumper has a black phat on it... and I own a few of those tokens! Haha.
That's pretty cool!
